Composed in 1999 for a music theory class at Central Oregon Community College, Castlerock was inspired by the rock formations (see cover photo) of the same name in the foothills of Boise, ID.

This song was performed on a Washburn Springfield D-10 acoustic guitar, recorded with an AKG Perception 200 condenser microphone into ProTools on April 1st, 2011.
