When I was much younger, I used to do a lot of aggressive inline skating. Curbs that had been freshly painted with that thick, heavy paint like this one were perfect for grinding because they were so slick and smooth.
This post, like the curb in Smooth As Butter, was freshly painted and bright. I love colors like this: bright, bold, vivid.
This parking lot, as I mentioned before, was recently painted. I love these vivid, bright colors and they look great in high contrast post-production editing. And yes, I do like the way the tilt of the image makes it look like it was taken in the villain's lair from the original Batman TV series.
This is a different curb, but it's very similar to the other Smooth As Butter shot I did a few weeks ago. I realized today that I really like the contrast of the dark asphalt, bright curb, and organic grass.
